The 2020 Dairy Milk Advent Calendar We’re Going To Need

09/11/2020 by Hannah Gale

2 Min Read

If there was ever a year to go all-guns-blazing with your annual advent calendar it was absolutely going to be 2020, because hey, we all need something to look forward to right now.

And, no biggie but we reckon we’ve found the perfect one. Say hello to Cadbury’s brand spanking new Dairy Milk Chunks advent calendar.

What makes it so special? WELL, inside each of its 24 doors is a piece of chocolate that alternates between the holy trio of chocolate: Caramel, Whole Nut and just plain, wonderful, classic Dairy Milk. It’s like all the good flavours from a choccie selection box all rammed together in one place and that’s something we can absolutely get on board with.

The calendar costs £5 and is available now at most major supermarkets up and down the country (we also spied it in an M&S petrol station last week, just FYI).

The way we see it is that it’s the perfect ‘grown-up’ advent calender. Too swish and heavenly to give to your toddler, but not so damn decadent that you’ll have to extend your overdraft limit again.

It’d be rude not to, eh? Let the month of chocolate for breakfast commence!

You might have noticed in stories that my nails are completely bare at the moment - I had my last set of gels done in October (bright red in case you were wondering). I did a home removal job and tried to wing it through December with a couple of costs of a cheap festive glitter polish but it kept flaking off the same day I painted them 😅 I haven’t bothered using the at-home gel set I have because #twokids but LORD ALMIGHTY will I be glad to look at my hands and see a bright, shiny rainbow mani looking back at me 😭🙌🏼🌈 Hannah x

We missed the fact that spring is eagerly attempting to make herself known (hello blue skies, flowers and not-as-bitterly-cold days, we see you). But it’s certainly putting a spring (lol) in our step.
