Everything You Need To Know About Sainsbury’s New Xmas Sandwich

13/11/2020 by Hannah Gale

2 Min Read

Admittedly, we’re not feeling quite as festive as we’d like to this year, so we’re on the hunt to find things that give us that magical, sparkly Christmas tingle in our bellies. So, with that in mind, say hello to Sainsbury’s 2020 Christmas sandwich offering.

The ‘Ultimate Christmas Feast Sandwich’ is exactly as the name suggests, containing a mouth-watering combo of oak-smoked turkey, Marmite roasted carrots and Brussel sprouts, bubble and squeak, pork and sage stuffing, gravy mayo and cranberry sauce. So, y’know… super low-key, then.

If that’s not igniting the festive flame within you, Sainsbury’s also have a vegan-friendly option this year: The Vegan Christmas New Yorker. It contains coconut cheese, gherkins, red cabbage and festive chutney. Heaven.

The perfect lunchtime pick-me-up for your standard Saturday dive-in-to-Sainsbury’s-because-we-have-no-milk.

Both sandwiches are out now, with prices starting from £2.

You might have noticed in stories that my nails are completely bare at the moment - I had my last set of gels done in October (bright red in case you were wondering). I did a home removal job and tried to wing it through December with a couple of costs of a cheap festive glitter polish but it kept flaking off the same day I painted them 😅 I haven’t bothered using the at-home gel set I have because #twokids but LORD ALMIGHTY will I be glad to look at my hands and see a bright, shiny rainbow mani looking back at me 😭🙌🏼🌈 Hannah x

But it’s certainly putting a spring (lol) in our step.
