Slogan Plant Pots: The Affordable Home Trend We Love

19/01/2021 by Hannah Gale

Slogan t-shirts gobbled up all our pay checks when they first hit the high street a few years back, but in 2021 it’s the slogan plant pot that’s are getting us feeling spendy.

We first spied them whilst shopping in Sainsbury’s just before Christmas, when they released two styles ‘grow wild’ and ‘you grow girl’ in mustard and teal, as part of their AW20 home collection for just a tenner each.

Sainsbury’s have since added a third design, in pink, which retails at £12. It can be bought in-store but it’s also available to order alongside your groceries online too.

Sainsbury’s slogan pots, in-store and online now.

We love the way they inject a bit of colour and fun into an otherwise plain space – they’d look cute with a basil plant in your kitchen, styled up with some coffee table books on a sideboard, or even propped up out of reach in a kid’s bedroom.

Made.com have also got in on the action with their set of two slogan planters, in pink and yellow, which retail at £39 for a set of two. Whilst stationery brand Typo (which is available via ASOS) have 30% off their slogan plant pots, taking them to £8.40.

Made.com’s planters come in a set of two.

But one of our fave slogan plant pot discoveries? Proudly Potty over on Etsy, a British lockdown start-up which sells hand painted pots from £20. Designs feature everything from pastel colours and leopard print to boobs and stripes, so we were always going to be instant fans.

A gorgeous pick-me-up for either yourself or a mate, if ever we saw one.

You might have noticed in stories that my nails are completely bare at the moment - I had my last set of gels done in October (bright red in case you were wondering). I did a home removal job and tried to wing it through December with a couple of costs of a cheap festive glitter polish but it kept flaking off the same day I painted them 😅 I haven’t bothered using the at-home gel set I have because #twokids but LORD ALMIGHTY will I be glad to look at my hands and see a bright, shiny rainbow mani looking back at me 😭🙌🏼🌈 Hannah x

But it’s certainly putting a spring (lol) in our step.
