The Best Chocolate Snacks For Easter 2021

04/02/2021 by Hannah Gale

5 Min Read

There are a few things getting us through each and every day at the moment; TV binges, cheap flowers, the evenings creeping lighter and lighter, but mostly, it’s the chocolate-y Easter snacks. Because boy, is there a whole load of sexiness coming to a seasonal supermarket aisle near you for 2021. Whether you like white chocolate, orange chocolate, lemon chocolate, mint chocolate or just well, classic chocolate, we’ve found a little summin’ summin’ for you.

All of these beautiful works of art are available now, so it’s probably a vital requirement you add at least one to your weekly shop, if only to update your Whatsapp group with a thorough taste review.

So, without further ado, these are the best Easter chocolate snacks this year…

Terry’s White Chocolate Orange Eggs, £1

There’s also the standard milk variety, but this year, Terry’s have gone absolutely wild and launched a white chocolate version too. Hubba Hubba. Exclusive to Tesco (and Tesco Express).

Mini Eggs bar, £1

Our all-time favourite Easter choccy now comes in bar form – there’s also a large egg version with Mini Eggs embedded in the shell. Available from most supermarkets.

Doisy & Dam Dark Chocolate Eggs, £1.99

One of the sexiest looking vegan options we’ve spotted out there – these bad boys are available at several food specialist websites as well as Holland and Barrett.

Kit Kat Mini Eggs, £1

Brand new for 2021, these hunnies have a rich, chocolatey centre with crunchy wafer pieces. Count us in! Available at most supermarkets.

Marks & Spencer Chicky Chocky Speckled Eggs, from £1

These M&S favourites are available in a delicious chocolate orange variety for 2021. They have a crispy outer shell with firm yummy chocolate on the inside. Heart eyes emojis over here.

Tony’s Chocoloney Great Big Chocolate Eggs, £3.75

These were released last year but are back again for 2021 (alongside their limited edition Lemon meringue chocolate), and were so good we couldn’t resist adding them to the line-up. Twelve eggs in seven flavours, and the most ethical chocolate you’ll find in the supermarket. Available at Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

Leopard Lindt Bunny, £4

Whilst the humble Lindt Bunny isn’t new, this jazzy leopard print version is. You’ll also find white chocolate, dark chocolate and hazelnut varieties on the shelves this year.

Celebrations Easter mix, £3.50

Like your usual Christmas Celebrations, but, well the Easter variety – complete with Malteser Bunnies and Galaxy Caramel eggs. HELLO. Available at Tesco and B&M.

Orange Maltesers Bunny, 50p

Our fave delicious bunny is now available in chocolate orange and available in most supermarkets. This cutie also comes in white chocolate too and is available in share size bags.

Lindt Mini Eggs, £1.50

There’s bog standard milk chocolate mini eggs from Lindt, and bags of hollow bunnies, but these mini eggs with a creamy white filling are brand new for 2021 and available at Tesco.

Rhythm 108 Swiss Chocolate Truffle Eggs, £1.25

Vegan and gluten-free, these pretty pink eggs are a great alternative and available at Sainsbury’s.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs, £1

Brand new for Easter 2021, these individually wrapped babies are an utter delight for peanut butter lovers. Available at Sainsbury’s.

Colin the Caterpillar faces, £1

Individually wrapped Colin faces? Yes please. These delicious guys launched last month exclusively to Marks & Spencer.

Cadbury’s White Chocolate Eggs with Filling, £1

Exclusive to Asda, these brand new bags of deliciousness have a white chocolate outer shell and a creamy chocolate filling inside. YES PLEASE!

Cadbury’s Creme Egg and Caramel Egg Selection Box, £3

It’s the Easter collaboration we’ve all been waiting for. Creme Eggs, meet Caramel Eggs. You get five of each in a box and they’re patiently waiting for you at most supermarkets. To share or not to share?

Milkybar Mini Eggs, £1

New for 2021, these white chocolate pops of heaven are joined by Smarties Mini Eggs and Aero Milk Chocolate Mini Eggs and all three are available at most supermarkets now.

Cadbury’s Minis Mix, £3

First spotted in B&M a few years back, this clever assortment of Cadbury’s finest has finally hit the mainstream supermarkets. In each bag you’ll find Creme Eggs, Oreo Eggs, Daim Eggs and Dairy Milk eggs. Heavenly.

So now the big ol’ question is, which chocolate will you be diving face-first into next?

New feature today all about our love of Instagram’s favourite interior trend - the half wall. Perfect for kids bedrooms, grown-up bedrooms and living rooms galore. So here, have another photo of the kid’s bedroom (because we’re yet to decorate most rooms in the house 😅 and this one is conveniently a prime example of the infamous half paint job). This is @littlegreenepaintcompany Yellow Pink 🌼🌻✨⭐️ I’ve also included some of our other fave bits of inspo from across Instagram - including dreamy interiors from @charminglifebyjess @renovating_the_broadway @gemellisx and @katespiers 😍😍😍
I may have been a fashion editor for a decade, but I may have been a fashion editor for a decade, but I definitely lost my style mojo after baby no.1 (if I’m honest, two years later I’m still trying to find it)
Lockdown, wearing gym kit for work and not wanting to spend money on maternity clothes I’ll only wear for a few months has meant wardrobe options have been relatively limited this pregnancy, but actually, that’s made life easier. Dungarees are my go-to - these @newlook cord ones have seen me through both pregnancies, my two besties through theirs and even survived an unfortunate ripping incident during the “birthing positions” part of my NCT course 🤣 Adding in a non-maternity top that still fits over bump (I managed to do up about 3 buttons on this @ganni one) is an easy way to make maternity wear feel a bit more “you”. Along with these dungarees and a denim pair I found on @ebay_uk, I’ve lived in @newlook’s leggings - the only ones I could find that didn’t go opaque - @topshop straight maternity jeans (RIP) @hm Mama gym leggings and a couple of dresses from my first pregnancy - mostly @asos maternity or @zara sized up. My maternity wardrobe tips? Look for dresses with easy boob access that you can wear post-pregnancy (I totally failed on this first time round 🤦🏻‍♀️) check out maternity rental sites like @for.the.creators (we have a post on this on site) or shop second hand on @ebay_uk @depop or Facebook marketplace. What are your maternity must-buys?
Just a cheeky bit of midweek nail inspo to either Just a cheeky bit of midweek nail inspo to either copy at home or save for THAT trip to the nail salon in April. You might have noticed in stories that my nails are completely bare at the moment - I had my last set of gels done in October (bright red in case you were wondering). I did a home removal job and tried to wing it through December with a couple of costs of a cheap festive glitter polish but it kept flaking off the same day I painted them 😅 I haven’t bothered using the at-home gel set I have because #twokids but LORD ALMIGHTY will I be glad to look at my hands and see a bright, shiny rainbow mani looking back at me 😭🙌🏼🌈 Hannah x
