The Best Animal Print Baby And Toddler Clothes To Buy Online

16/02/2021 by Hannah Gale

As you might have guessed by now, we love leopard print. In fact, we really love it. We love it in our wardrobes – dresses, pyjamas and gym clothes, we love it in our homes, on our stationery and most of all? We love dressing our kids in it.

So we thought we’d compile our edit of the best leopard and animal print pieces available to shop online now for both babies and toddlers. Everything is completely gender neutral, and we hope that it’s incredibly practical and wearable too.

There’s lots from our all time fave kids brands (looking at you Lindex and H&M), but we’ve also included some supermarket steals and amazing independent brands.

We hope you find something you like (and that your kid might actually wear it too…).

This budget five-pack of leggings is available from age one and up. Perfect for fuss-free nursery dressing.

George at Asda, £10

Like a sweatshirt but still light enough to go underneath dungarees – a perfect piece for spring.

Emma Neal at Etsy, £16.50

Trust Lindex to come up with the cutest toddler pyjama set we’ve ever laid eyes on.

Lindex, £14.99

A bouji AF rain coat which means, rather handily, you absolutely will not lose your toddler whilst they race around the playground.

Kuling at Alex and Alexa, £43

This fleecy little number would make an excellent present for a mate having a baby (buy bigger than you think as everyone else will buy newborn and 0-3 months).

Next, from £11

Hello the cutest new baby gift in all the land! There’s also dungarees and sweatshirts too in every letter of the alphabet.

Bob The Brand, £18

An adorable all-in-one, perfect for hot summer days, or layered over long-sleeved vests.

Bebe and Mattie at Etsy, £29.50

Not quite animal print, but along the same lines, and the wrap-style makes them super practical for newborns.

H&M, £9.99

And just an FYI, there’s also matching trousers…

Marks & Spencer, £8

Imagine with a little grey hoodie underneath, a pair of leggings and a beanie. Coolest kid EVER.

Myleene Klass for Next, from £22

A leopard round-up just wouldn’t be complete without Scamp & Dude’s iconic animal print and lightening bolt mash-up.

Scamp & Dude, £25

Another excellent legging pack with two truly marvelous prints.

Lindex, £14.99

All the hipsters are wearing fleeces so I guess that means it instantly makes your kid hip and happening now too?

H&M, £7.99

A bargain set which is available from newborn. Hurrah!

Tu at Sainsbury’s, £7

A delicious raincoat to see your kid through a whole lot of spring puddle jumping. Also comes in pink.

Lindex, £24.99

Cute and monochrome if wildly bright colours aren’t your thing.

George at Asda, from £7

Our fave colour palette right now: glorious beiges and warm tans, there’s also a matching vest set available!

H&M, £14.99

New feature today all about our love of Instagram’s favourite interior trend - the half wall. Perfect for kids bedrooms, grown-up bedrooms and living rooms galore. So here, have another photo of the kid’s bedroom (because we’re yet to decorate most rooms in the house 😅 and this one is conveniently a prime example of the infamous half paint job). This is @littlegreenepaintcompany Yellow Pink 🌼🌻✨⭐️ I’ve also included some of our other fave bits of inspo from across Instagram - including dreamy interiors from @charminglifebyjess @renovating_the_broadway @gemellisx and @katespiers 😍😍😍
I may have been a fashion editor for a decade, but I may have been a fashion editor for a decade, but I definitely lost my style mojo after baby no.1 (if I’m honest, two years later I’m still trying to find it)
Lockdown, wearing gym kit for work and not wanting to spend money on maternity clothes I’ll only wear for a few months has meant wardrobe options have been relatively limited this pregnancy, but actually, that’s made life easier. Dungarees are my go-to - these @newlook cord ones have seen me through both pregnancies, my two besties through theirs and even survived an unfortunate ripping incident during the “birthing positions” part of my NCT course 🤣 Adding in a non-maternity top that still fits over bump (I managed to do up about 3 buttons on this @ganni one) is an easy way to make maternity wear feel a bit more “you”. Along with these dungarees and a denim pair I found on @ebay_uk, I’ve lived in @newlook’s leggings - the only ones I could find that didn’t go opaque - @topshop straight maternity jeans (RIP) @hm Mama gym leggings and a couple of dresses from my first pregnancy - mostly @asos maternity or @zara sized up. My maternity wardrobe tips? Look for dresses with easy boob access that you can wear post-pregnancy (I totally failed on this first time round 🤦🏻‍♀️) check out maternity rental sites like @for.the.creators (we have a post on this on site) or shop second hand on @ebay_uk @depop or Facebook marketplace. What are your maternity must-buys?
Just a cheeky bit of midweek nail inspo to either Just a cheeky bit of midweek nail inspo to either copy at home or save for THAT trip to the nail salon in April. You might have noticed in stories that my nails are completely bare at the moment - I had my last set of gels done in October (bright red in case you were wondering). I did a home removal job and tried to wing it through December with a couple of costs of a cheap festive glitter polish but it kept flaking off the same day I painted them 😅 I haven’t bothered using the at-home gel set I have because #twokids but LORD ALMIGHTY will I be glad to look at my hands and see a bright, shiny rainbow mani looking back at me 😭🙌🏼🌈 Hannah x
