Affordable Garden Furniture For When You Can Have People Round

11/03/2021 by Gemma Yates

2 Min Read

The 29th March – aka our first step towards freedom – is in sight, and we can almost smell the BBQ and taste the Aperol Spritz we’ll be sipping when we’re finally allowed to have six people (or a maximum of two households) in our gardens again.

Whether your outside space is a generously-sized garden, bijou balcony or a small-but-perfectly-formed patio, now is the time to pimp it up for your long-awaited guests with some gorgeous garden furniture. If you’ve ever browsed the garden furniture section of a website and muttered to yourself “how much?” we hear you, so we’ve rounded up the most affordable – and stylish, obvs – pieces out there. From on-trend rattan tables to space-saving bistro sets and a dreamy macrame swing chair all coming in at under £300, here’s everything you need to create the ultimate outdoor sanctuary. Now all we need is some sunshine…

Perfect for a garden or balcony, they’ll bring a much-needed pop of colour to an outdoor space that’s lacking in flowers or plants.

Dudenda 3-Piece Garden Set in Acacia Wood, £140, La Redoute

Chic AF colour and a built-in planting trough: bravo Habitat.

Trough 2-Seater Bistro Set, £150, Habitat

Ultra-grammable, pop on some oversized shades, add a cocktail and pretend you’re in Palm Springs.

Yuri Garden Chair, £199, Made.com

TBH, we’d happily have this rattan beauty indoors too.

Madalina Coffee Table, £150, La Redoute

Seriously good value for money, this 4-seater set also comes in sunshine yellow.

Ipanema 4-Seater Sofa Set, £200, Habitat

Channel 70s The Serpent vibes – minus the whole serial killer thing, of course. Also comes as a two-seater.

Reelak Hammock Chair, £99, La Redoute

Yep, we had to double check the price too. There’s a four-seater version for £75 and it comes in red and black too.

Tarno Table and Chairs, £35, Ikea

Add in some palm trees and you could almost be in Miami.

Calabrese 2-Seater Bistro Set, £303.99, Wayfair

(Im)patiently waiting for this baby to come back in stock.

Gardenline Hanging Egg Chair, £149.99, Aldi

If you need us, we’ll be buried in a book on this comfy number.

Corner Sofa Set with Storage, £300, Habitat

Create an instant oasis on your balcony with this genius hook-on table and two chairs.

2-Seater Balcony Bistro Set, £60, Argos Home
