The Body Shop have revamped their infamous Body Butter for 2021 and, as gals who have always had a tub on the go since the Dream Matte Mousse years (circa 2005, in case you were wondering), we are very excited.
There’ll be 13 products in the new line-up (hang on – we’ll get to the full list a bit further down, but just FYI there is now an avocado one), and they’ll all come in pots made of aluminium 100% recycled plastic and are registered with The Vegan Society. They are officially The Body Shop’s most sustainable Body Butter ever.
The were first launched back in 1992 and are now so popular that around the world, a tub is sold every three seconds. My first ever was a purple Passion Fruit tub, and I quickly amassed Mango and Raspberry in my beloved stash.
The Body Shop say that their iconic Body Butters deliver: “96 hours of intense moisture” and “leave your skin feeling soft and smooth without feeling sticky” and tbh, we can’t argue with those claims.
In the new collection, which launches online and in-store next week (12th April to be exact) you will find: Shea, Coconut, Argan, Olive, Almond Milk, Moringa, Mango, Satsuma, Pink Grapefruit, British Rose, Strawberry and Hemp scented formulas, alongside Avocado.
They will retail at £16 for 200ml and 10p from every sale will be donated to Health Fund which The Body Shop have partnered with End Youth Homelessness to create.
