It’s the Tony Chocolonely collab we niever knew we needed, but beer brand Brewdog have just announced that they are teaming up with the Dutch chocolatiers to create a white chocolate & raspberry milkshake IPA.
Could be gross, could also be weirdly the best thing in the world?
Little is known yet about the new product, including when it will launch and where it will be sold. But first images of the canned beverage were released via Brewdog’s CEO James Watt’s Twitter account.
James said: ” Honoured to be collaborating with one of our all-time favourite companies @TonyChocolonely. Their chocolate is incredible & we love their mission to make chocolate 100% slave free. We are going to be making a white chocolate & raspberry milkshake IPA.”
There’s already a White Chocolate and Raspberry Popping Candy flavour available by the brand, although it’s hard to track down in the UK and isn’t readily stocked in either Sainsbury’s, Waitrose or Co-op, which are the supermarkets who carry the brand over here.
Both me and Gemma are huge Tony’s choc fans (the Caramel and Sea Salt Milk Choc is a real fave) so will be waiting tentatively to find out more about this intriguing drinks launch.
And for any non-beer drinkers who are not quite sure what an IPA is, it’s a pale ale, known for its hoppy flavours and aromas.
