We’re forever lured in by a dashing budget supermarket buy, whether that’s kidswear, homeware or womenswear, so when we got a chance to get a sneak peek at George at ASDA’s new summer collection, we jumped. And boy oh boy is it a goodun’.
Crammed with glorious bright floral prints that make us think of dining al fresco in front of a glorious turquoise sea, and plenty of sustainable fabrics, the new range has us dreaming of sunnier times ahead.
Prices start at £10 (for a leopard crop top) and go up to £18 for midi dresses, and pieces will be starting to trickle into stores and online from June – with the majority arriving in July.
We’ve got our eyes firmly on the bright rainbow floral dress which is giving off some super cute designer vibes (hello RIXO, is that you?) and will be in stock from July 24th at a v purse-friendly £16.
George have used BCI cotton (essentially a more sustainable type of cotton which improves livelihoods and economic development in cotton producing areas) as well as recycled polyester within the new pieces, making them some of their most environmentally-friendly clothes ever.
