You know what’s truly great? Hot cheese. All kinds of it: baked Camembert, cheese fondue, mozzarella dippers, cheddar on toast. I mean, the list goes on. Which is why we were thrilled to hear about Burger King adding halloumi fries to their summer menu. Yum!
The fast food giant announced the news yesterday, and a spokesperson said: “With the warm weather hopefully here to stay, we know guests are going to love our summery Halloumi Fries on the side. The perfect treat after a long, long winter.”
The BK Halloumi Fries will join the new Cheesy Bacon Chicken Burger, the Cheesy Bacon Double Burger and a Halloumi King Burger on the limited edition seasonal menu in the UK, which just FYI, is being rolled out this week.

And, whilst the fries are technically meat-free, they can’t be declared as vegetarian because of the methods used to cook them in restaurants (basically they share an oil filteration system which means there’s a chance of cross-contamination with meat products).
The Halloumi Fries come as either a pack of six (£3.69) or nine (£4.69) and come with a choice of dip – sweet chilli, smokey BBQ or spicy mayo.
We look forward to hearing your reviews…
