Last Christmas was, well…let’s face it, a bit of a write off. And so to make up for it, Pret have decided to re-release their infamous festive sandwich this month to spread a bit of foodie joy.
The coffee chain announced the news via their Instagram account earlier in the week and said: “IT’S CHRIIIIIISSSTMAAAS (in July). No one should ever miss our iconic Christmas sandwich so we’re bringing it back for one month only. Available to buy from shops or for delivery now.”
The festive sarnie features slices of free-range turkey, port and orange cranberry sauce, herby pork stuffing, mayo, baby spinach and crispy onions, all happily squished together between two slices of wholemeal bread.
A spokesperson for Pret said: “Every year customers ask us for the Christmas sandwich to return earlier and earlier, and after many customers missed out on having one last year we’ve decided to stand by our mission of spreading joy through our food and coffee, and bring our iconic Christmas sandwich back early for a limited time this summer.”
There’s no news yet as to whether there gluten-free or vegan variations will be returning this summer, but the classic will be available until the end of July.
