What Is Beauty Pie And What Are The Best Products?

17/08/2021 by Hannah Gale

10 Min Read

One of the most frequent questions to slide into our DMs is about which Beauty Pie products we recommend. And, whilst we have our favourites (you can read about ’em here), we thought we’d open the floor to you guys – after all, it’s not like we’ve tried every product the beauty subscription service has to offer.

And there were, of course, some products that just came up over and over and over again – including some that have just received a one-way fastrack ticket to the front of our next order (looking at you Plantastic Cleansing Balm).

Anyway, before we rattle off all the most loved Beauty Pie products, we thought it might be helpful for any BP virgins to gain a better understanding of just what the products are and how the website works, because it’s a bit different to just shopping at Boots.

You choose a monthly subscription package (they start at £5, which is the one I use – it’s enough to keep my fave handful of products topped up and to try something new every couple of months), and that allows you a monthly spending limit. For a £5 subscription you’ll receive a £50 spending limit, which rolls over each month if you don’t use the full amount.

Beauty Pie products are created in the same factories as some of the most popular high-end products in the world, but offered at a much lower price to subscribers. Most products will cost in the region of £5-£15, but your spending limit amount is based on the ‘retail price’ rather than the ‘member price’. We know, it’s a little confusing to wrap your head around, but we promise once you start shopping on there, it does get easier to understand.

These are the products you lot love…

Sheer Tinted Oil-Free SPF

If the past 18 months have done one thing to our make-up bags it’s make them lighter, more streamlined, and focused on achieving a lazy, natural everyday look. Which is why tinted moisturiser has become our new fave product. Beauty Pie’s offering is oil free, contains SPF 20 and comes in five shades. The real highlight is the price as it comes in under £7. You guys love that it offers some coverage whilst keeping skin fresh and dewy.
