It’s been the first crime drama of the autumn season to really hook us in (so many of us watched the first episode – 10.2 million – that it instantly became the BBC’s most viewed drama of the year), but with season one about to come to an end, the big question is…will there be a second season?
WELL. Anjli Mohindra – who plays medical officer Tiffany Docherty in the BBC One thriller – exclusively told the Radio Times that there had been “conversations”. Oo-er.
“I think there’s stuff on the horizon. But nothing confirmed just yet” she added.
The show, which is from the producers of Line Of Duty, begins with a sailor found dead on submarine HMS Vigil and follows the ensuing mystery and conspiracy surrounding the case. It’s excellent without being too heavy, although there’s a touch of claustraphobia at times.
There’s six episodes all together in the gripping drama, with episodes 1-4 having already aired on BBC One – the final two will be shown this Sunday evening at 9pm (19th September) and the following Sunday (26th September). You can find the first episodes on iPlayer now.
We’ll keep you in the loop as soon as we hear anything confirmed…
