Some brilliant autumn news for anyone who’s a fan of yachting reality television because HELLO there’s a new season of Below Deck coming later this month. But spoiler: you’ll need to have a hayu subscription to watch it when it airs.
There was some question as to whether season nine of the show would be able to film as normal given all the current travel restrictions in place thanks to our good pal covid – but lead character in the show, Captain Lee, confirmed that it would be coming to our screens in two weeks time. The first episode will air on 25th October 2021.
He said via his Instagram page: “It’s a-boat time! 2 weeks until the #BelowDeck Season Premiere on @BravoTV! Trust me you don’t want to miss this.”
The post was accompanied by a trailer for season nine which also showed the rest of the crew who would be featuring in the new season, and yes, there’s a couple of familiar faces! We know that first officer on My Seanna will be Eddie Lucas and that the chef will be Rachel Hargrove who joined the show in season eight.
Whilst Below Deck airs on Bravo in the States, it is available to watch in the UK via Amazon Prime if you take out a hayu subscription which costs £4.99 a month. You’ll also gain access to all seasons of the show that haven’t yet landed on Netflix UK (seasons 5-7). There’s also over 250 other shows for your binging pleasure.
