When it comes to Christmas shopping, chances are you fall into one of two camps: the kind of person who has everything bought and wrapped before Halloween, or the kind of person who legs it to their local shopping centre the week before Christmas hoping everything will still be in stock. We’re somewhere in the middle – we can only dream of possessing the organisational qualities necessary to be the former, while the latter sends our anxiety levels sky-high. Anyway, everyone knows the week before Christmas is a time for Baileys, ransacking Quality Street and watching festive films.
If you’re yet to start your shopping and have little people to buy for, you’ll be pleased to know that Amazon has just announced the top ten toys for Christmas 2021. This year’s list features old favourites and new products, including Harry Potter Pictionary, a Polly Pocket theme park and a turtle potty training aid brilliantly named Little Live Pets Gotta Go Turdle.
Now, we know the reasons to avoid shopping on Amazon are multiple (and extremely valid), and it’s something we’re definitely trying to do less of. If you feel the same, why not see if you can buy any the toys featured from an independent or local retailer or, better still, secondhand.
