Well here’s a bit of delicious autumn news to brighten up another dreary day full of drizzle: Marks & Spencer have just announced that their sell-out Marmite Cheese hot cross buns will now be sold in-store all year round. Halle-bloody-lullah!
The savoury snack first launched earlier this year in the lead-up to Easter, and were incredibly hard to get hold of as shoppers flocked to give them a whirl. And they’ve proved so successful that M&S has decided they should no longer be reserved just for spring.
They announced via their Instagram account: “BACK FOR GOOD! That’s right our Marmite™️ Cheese Hot Cross Buns are now available in stores all year round, so you can get your fix whenever you like.”
“Flavoured with Marmite™️, Cheddar and Red Leicester they’re OUTRAGEOUSLY cheesy. Try toasting and spreading with homemade Marmite™️ butter – whip 2 tbsp Marmite through 125g of soft butter for the ultimate savoury spread!”
You can buy a pack of four now for £1.65. Best eaten with a cup of tea, we reckon.
