It’s been a long ol’ wait for the fourth season of Stranger Things but Netflix have just revealed when the popular sci-fi will be back on our screens – although spoiler, we’re going to be waiting just a smidge longer.
To mark ‘Stranger Things Day’ which is the 9th November and the day that Will Myers first went missing in the show, Netflix released a trailer for the forthcoming season, a list of title episodes and the news that – dun dun dun – season four will be arriving on the streaming service sometime in summer 2022. Although there’s no exact date confirmed just yet, so we’re reckoning any time between May and August?
The titles for the nine episodes are as follows: The Hellfire Club, Vecna’s Curse, The Monster and the Superhero, Dear Billy, The Nina Project, The Dive, The Massacre at Hawkins Lab, Papa and The Piggyback.
The trailer (which you can view here) shows Eleven writing a letter to Mike from her new home in California and it’s been roughly six months since she, Will and the rest of her adopted family left Hawkins, Indiana. She tells Mike she can’t wait to spend spring break with him, and then the trailer cuts to a heck of a lot of action. Think machine guns, explosions and more.
We also learn that the fourth season is set in the spring of 1986.
Let the countdown commence…
