When we’re not swooning over her latest outfit or drooling over her delicious food, we’re ogling Laura Jackson’s dreamy interiors. The broadcaster and journalist has become something of an Instagram interiors guru in recent years, creating gorgeous tablescapes for her Hoste supper clubs and collaborating with Habitat on a sell-out homeware range. Now, shes turned her talent for discovering under-the-radar and independent interiors brands into a business with the launch of online homeware marketplace, Glassette.
Co-founded with homeware buyer Daniel Crowe, Glassette is described as “the place to discover beautifully curated objects.” Online, you’ll find (surprisingly affordable) hand-selected homeware and interiors products from over 120 small and independent brands, with longevity, artistry, environmentally conscious materials and design all taken into account during the buying process. As we look to shop more consciously – and with Christmas mere weeks away – Glassette’s arrival couldn’t have come at a better time.
Glassette offers everything from glassware and ceramics to textiles, candles and prints. You can shop by room, product or brand, explore the “edits” section – everything from dinner party to bold colours – or enjoy interviews with everyone from Laura herself to interior designer Beata Heuman and chef Ravneet Gill. There will also be a monthly limited edition collaboration between Laura and one of Glassette’s makers, with the first launching in December – just in time for Christmas shopping.
Here, we’ve rounded up the Glassette buys we’d love to find under our tree…
