January is always a long month. It’s dark, it’s cold, there’s a dragged out stint between pay cheques, and there’s those post-Christmas blues. Frankly, there’s never been a more important time to lean completely into the wonderful hug that is Netflix.
The TV streaming service have revealed everything they’ll be releasing for January 2022, and, as well as some bloody brilliant films we’d almost completely forgotten about (perfect for passing a slow Sunday), there’s some new seasons of some Netflix favourites on the horizon too.

It might not sound like an obvious plot for a film, but both Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are absolutely brilliant in it.

Marie Antoinette
A classic Kirsten Dunst teen movie which follows the Marie Antoinette era leading up to the French Revolution. An easy watch on the sofa with a cup of tea, a blanket and those leftover Christmas chocolates.

Too Hot To Handle (season three)
Fancy some low-brow easy-to-watch reality TV? Let us introduce you to the third season of Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle. It’s not wildly different to Love Island, but the goal is the opposite – for a group of outrageously attractive strangers to stay on a decadent paradise island together and not have sex. That’s right, celibacy wins them the grand prize of $100,000 (which reduces every time a rule is broken).
Lands on Netflix on 19th January 2022.

Ozark (season four, part one)
The fourth season of crime thriller Ozark returns to Netflix later this month. This is the final season of the show and is split into two parts, with the first seven episodes available in January and the final seven being released later in the year.
