If you’ve got toddlers or young kids then it’s likely you’ve hunted out 2 for 1 tickets and headed out on a glorious day trip to one of the UK’s biggest theme parks, places like Alton Towers or Legoland or Chessington World Of Adventures.
And the big news for Alton Towers fans is that the park is extending and upgrading their much-loved CBeebies Land (which is aimed at pre-schoolers) to include three new areas, all named after favourite BBC shows. Coming to the Staffordshire theme park this spring is Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig, as well as JoJo & Gran Gran At Home.

To help build a bit of hype and momentum, Alton Towers have released early mocked-up images of exactly what guests can expect from the new attractions. The Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge attraction will consist of a fun play area that mirrors the clubhouse in Hey Duggee! It will include slides, climbing and bouncing areas for teeny tiny guests to explore. Duggee himself will even be making daily visits to the clubhouse, ready to greet his newest recruits.
The JoJo & Gran Gran At Home attraction will include a real-life house that looks just like the set, ready for little ones to explore and immerse themselves in. There’ll also be a maze for them to explore in the garden.

And lastly, the Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig is a new interactive show which will look like a huge prehistoric digging site complete with sounds and lights.
Lots of bits to look forward to, but no confirmed date as of yet – we just know they’ll all be coming for spring 2022.
Better get planning…
