Chances are, you’ve completely forgotten all about the glorious French biscuit that is the humble BN. The square-faced biccies first became popular in the noughties and were a strong lunchbox fave, but four years ago they were removed from UK supermarkets altogether. We can now reveal that they will be returning to the UK ASAP.
The biscuits (which feature two sides sandwiched together with a tasty filling) are now under the McVities brand and will have a new slogan. Gone are the catchy days of ‘BN BN dun dun dun dun’ and in are 2022’s ‘taste the smile’.
And, whilst all seven flavours (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, hazelnut, raspberry, apricot and milk chocolate) of the original BNs won’t be headed back to stores initially, there will be chocolate and vanilla, as well as mini chocolate BNs and mini strawberry BNs.
You can snap up a pack for £1 from ASDA stores nationwide and they will be released into other supermarket chains over the coming weeks.
Having gorged on a pack of chocolate BNs last time I was in France, I can confirm they taste just as great as an adult as they do as a kid…
