Every nineties kid will remember the humble Club biscuit as a staple in any school lunchbox. It came in either orange m, fruitint flavour and was usually sandwiched inbetween a clingfilm-wrapped ham sandwich and a Frube yogurt. Anyway, the big news on the snack block is that McVities are launching a sexy new flavour to their Club range.
It has blue packaging and is already available in Morrison’s, Asda and Iceland and will be headed to all other major supermarkets in the coming months. And the big reveal you’re all waiting for? The new flavour is… dun dun dun… salted caramel! Yes please!
It’s the first new Club biscuit flavour in over a decade (they launched a now discontinued honeycomb variety back in 2012), and a spokesperson for the brand said: “McVitie’s Club has been a favourite among biscuit-lovers for many years, so we’re very excited to be able to offer a brand-new flavour for fans to try. The new biscuit has everything people know and love about Club, with its classic chunky chocolate exterior and crunchy biscuit middle, now with a sweet and salty twist.”
We know what we want with our next cup of tea…
