With weddings fully back on after a rocky two years (or at least we hope), Etsy have revealed the wedding trends that they’re seeing surging searches for on their website. From wedding dress details to accessories and even wedding gifts, there’s certain styles that brides-to-be and guests are searching for more than ever before.

Bridal Bows
Etsy have revealed that they’ve seen a 51% increase in searches for bridal dresses and gowns with bows on, as well as a whopping 114% increase in searches for bridal bow accessories. This gorgeous tulle hairpiece? Just £30 from TheBohoBride.
Bridgerton aesthetic
With season two of the hit Netflix series on its way, we’re more invested in the regency trend than ever before. Etsy have reported huge increases in searches for puff sleeve wedding dresses, pearl veils and a big ol’ 112% increase in searches for wedding gloves. Short wedding dresses
With more and more people choosing smaller, more laid-back weddings thanks to restrictions of recent years, short wedding dresses are absolutely having a moment. Etsy shared that searches for short wedding dresses were up 29% and searches for A-line wedding dresses were up 22%. This simple style costs £250 and can be shopped here.
Destination Weddings (Or Destination Themed Weddings)
The wedding invite of the moment? A passport-themed one, apparently. Searches are up 140% on previous years, whilst beach-inspired favours and tropical decor are also both having a moment. Shop these passport invites here.
Colourful Weddings
Generic we know, but colourful weddings are a thing. Whilst we’ve got used to wedding being a place of soft muted tones (hello sage green and blush pink), we’re all searching for wedding rainbow brights. Colourful wedding item searches are up over 300%, and you can shop this rainbow sequin veil here. There’s also been a rise in searches for colourful engagement rings with a 249% increase in searches for ruby engagement rings, and a 105% increase in searches for emerald engagement rings and a 12% increase in searches for sapphire engagement rings.
Personalised Wedding Gifts
And as for wedding gift trends? We’re looking to personalised presents more than ever. There’s been a 77% increase in wedding cutting boards engraved with wedding details (like the one above which you can shop here), as well as a 129% increase in personalised prints and illustrations.
