Vegan gals, listen up, because fast food is about to get a seriously sexy makeover courtesy of Burger King. They’ve just opened their first EVER meat-free restaurant which means every single item on the menu will be suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Oo-er.
From today (14th March) until 14th April, the burger-joint have transformed their Leicester Square branch into a plant-based restaurant which features a brand new menu with 25 items.
Aside from their iconic Plant-Based Whopper and Vegan Royale, there will be new burgers for fans to enjoy such as Plant-Based Bakon Double Cheeeze XL, Vegan Cheeeze & Bakon Royale as well as a Vegan Nugget Burger as well as Vegan Chilli Cheeze Bites.
There’s also the brand new Japanese-inspired Vegan Katsu Royale and the Plant-Based Katsu Chilli Whopper. All of it sounds OUTRAGEOUS.
A spokesperson for Burger King said: “We’re incredibly proud of our new meat-free menu. It absolutely delivers on big taste with no compromises and reflects our ongoing commitment to serving our customers a diverse and innovative range of products.”
The temporary takeover of Burger King’s flagship restaurant is part of the brand’s plan to have a 50% meat-free menu by 2030. We can’t wait to see these plant-based items become regular menu additions…
