You know us, we love a bit of interiors inspo for our homes which we’re both in the midst of attempting to do up, so it’s excellent timing that Etsy have just released their round-up of the decor trends to watch for 2022.
The online marketplace said: “In 2022, we’re prioritising well-crafted, upscale and inspiring pieces for the home. In the last three months alone, we’ve seen a staggering 2,313 per cent increase in searches for handmade furniture. If this year’s decor trends are any indication, we’re not only ready to fall in love with our homes again—we’re excited to show them off, too..”

Dip-Dye Accessories
No longer are dip-dye and ombre just our favourite hair dos’ from the noughties, they’re now one of our fave styles to look for in homeware accessories. Dip-dye candles, ombre, gradient and aura art have all seen huge search increases in recent months.

Bright Colours
Seems like we’re all loving adding pops of coloured accents to our homes as searches for things like ‘pastel decor’ and ‘bright abstract art’ are up at the moment. Plus, retro and nostalgic 90s items are up over 700%!

Unexpected Wall Art
Like hanging things like photos and prints on your walls? Well, apparently this year it’s set to change and we’re about to get a whole lot more abstract. Searches for things like ‘hat hangers’ and ‘bike wall mounts’ are on the rise, as well as ‘personalised shadow boxes’ and ‘propogation planters’.
