If you’ve reached the stage where that sturdy pram you bought to cocoon your teeny baby now feels like a tank or you’ve realised that travelling with babies and toddlers means carrying a lot of extra crap around, you might be in the market for a lightweight stroller to help lighten the load.
While Hannah’s a Babyzen Yoyo fan and I really rate the Ergobaby Metro, there’s a new stroller on the block which we’d definitely be eyeing up if we were in the market for one – the Bugaboo Butterfly. Designed to make life with little people easier, you can fold the ultra-light (just 7.3kg) pushchair in one second using one hand and carry it hands-free with the shoulder strap. Once folded, it’ll stay standing wherever you put it – under restaurant tables, between train seats or in overhead luggage compartments.

It also boasts an extra-roomy padded seat, multiple recline positions and a five position leg rest. The ventilated hood offers plenty coverage from rain and sun, and it’s compatible with Bugaboo’s cosy foot muffs for extra warmth in winter.
Available to pre-order now for June delivery, the £395 Bugaboo Butterfly is suitable for children aged 6 months – 4 years (or up to 22kg) and comes in Stormy Blue, Midnight Black and Forest Green colourways.
