For any couples out there with conflicting pizza topping preferences (mostly looking at you, pineapple and tuna fan girls and boys), Domino’s iconic Half and Half pizza was an absolute saviour. It meant takeaway date night was stress-free and everyone was happy, it was a glorious food option – that was until it was temporarily removed from the menu in March 2020 during the pandemic.
But the glorious news is that now, more than two years later, the Half and Half – in which you can literally choose to have each half of your pizza completely different – is back.
The popular pizza is slowly being introduced back into stores (it’s now available at my local Domino’s, for instance, but not at the one closest to my old address). So expect to be able to order it again very soon.
A spokesperson for the brand said in 2021 that: “Our popular Half and Half is a more complex and time consuming pizza to make. With less team members in store it’s important for us to reduce complexity where we can, to ensure our teams are safe and our customers do not experience any delays with their orders.”
And that’s not the only new change from the pizza brand, as they’ve now added a delivery fee on all orders. Whereas once delivery was free on all orders, you now have to pay an additional £2 to have your pizza brought to you.
To Domino’s this weekend, or not to Domino’s….
