Swimwear shopping is right up there with jeans shopping and bra shopping – a haunting and yet necessary evil for all involved. But this summer’s hottest swimwear trend not only looks super cool and can be snapped up on a budget, but it looks bloody gorgeous on everyone (or at least we think so!).
Your summer 2022 BFF? The humble textured swimsuit. Made Insta-famous by Hunza G, the sustainable British brand that first burst onto the scene a couple of years ago, the textured – or shirred – swimsuit is the trend that’s sweeping the online high street right now.
I wore a hot pink dupe by River Island on my recent holiday and felt fantastic, despite being dubious about how the fabric would work on curves and rolls. I saw a few other women around the pool in similar styles – some one-pieces and some in bikinis – and thought it looked bloody gorgeous on every shape and size.
