God bless Aldi and it’s dupes. From scented candles to casserole dishes, the supermarket is constantly serving up banging copycats. Food is no exception – hello, coconut mochi – and the supermarket has just added to it’s McDonald’s-inspired range (which currently includes a box of 10 Breakfast Hash Browns) with the launch of two Crispy Chicken Strip boxes.
A clear homage to the fast-food chain’s ever-popular Chicken Selects, Aldi’s £2.49 offering contains 4 strips and comes with a choice of two dips – Sweet Chilli or BBQ. Encased in a seasoned crispy coating, Aldi’s Chicken Strips look exactly like their McDonald’s counterpart, but only a taste test will tell if they compare with the OG. *Adds pack to basket.*
