We were scrolling through Instagram last week and we saw the SAME bag style making appearances at weddings up and down the country no less than three times. Which we say absolutely makes it the wedding guest IT bag of the moment (and it’s been spied on brides too, in case you were looking for something fun to hide your phone and lipgloss in during your very own nuptials).
The accessory in question? A heart-shaped pouch, as spotted from a couple of different gorgeous British independent brands.
First up? The ‘Love Bomb’ bag Katie France London which we spied on mega babe Cat Patterson. The label is described as a ‘smile inducing brand for dopamine dressing babes’. Their heart-shaped bags are made from a mix of vintage, new and deadstock fabric and come in glorious prints ranging from leopard to gingham. There are different sizes available, with smaller wedding guest-worthy styles retailing at £95, and larger everyday styles coming in at £120. You can also shop sample sale designs which come in slightly cheaper.
Then there’s Maddie Dunning, who sells handmade silk bridal pouches and cocktail bags made-to-order. Her pink ruffled heart bag is a beaut and was recently seen on Frankie Dammone, but will set you back £245.
H&M also has a black heart-shape clutch available at £49.99, if you’re looking for something at a high street price.
Are they investment prices? Yes. Will they make your heart happy every time you look at them? Also yes.
