April is #caesareanawarenessmonth and with three c-sections between us (I’ve had one, Hannah two) we thought we’d share the tips that made our recoveries slightly easier, from how to get in and out of bed to massaging your scar - icky but so, so important. There’s also some expert advice from the brilliant @clarebournephysio in there too. Remember, a c-section is major surgery and has a huge effect both physically and emotionally - especially if it wasn’t the birth you’d hoped for - so be kind to yourself, process the emotions and honour what your body has been through ❤️ Link in bio to read.

Dreamy sunlight and daffs to brighten up Monday, because this snow/sleet/-1 degrees combo is really not doing it for me this morning. NGL, I’m feeling some serious overwhelm and ALL of the emotions today - think it’s a mix of lockdown restrictions easing (anyone else just not sure they’re ready yet?!) and my last week of training clients before maternity leave starts. Oh, and probably a bit of a sugar comedown from my insane baby shower cake yesterday. Trying to lean into the feelings and remind myself that there is no rush and I can navigate the return to real life on my own terms - as can you. Almost-the-weekend drinks tonight include a faux Pornstar from @aldiuk (I think they’re about 80p?) and a Tropical Daiquiri from @sbscocktails which is available in most big supermarkets. Delish 😈
